The recipes you will find within this blog are ones I have found in a variety of places. It could be a recipe I found on another blog a few days ago or one I have been using for many years. I find them in magazines, newspapers, on TV or handed down from a family member. I am trying to live a healthier lifestyle so I do what I can to most of these recipes a bit healthier without sacrificing taste. Anything from swapping Ground Turkey for Ground Beef, whole wheat for white flour products, egg substitute for whole eggs and low fat or fat free for regular.
Just simple ways to help me lighten the calorie, fat and carb counts in the recipes as I am a Type II Diabetic who is overweight and whose Cholesterol needs to come down a bit. As this is not the case with everyone, you can easily adapt these recipes to suit your tastes or needs. Most of the recipes on here are very adaptable. Whatever the case I hope you find something you enjoy!
